NES is committed to giving back to the community. Through charitable initiatives, the NES team and the Baker Family Foundation actively support causes close to our hearts.

Marching for Hunger with Move for Hunger

NES marched in the Parade with a Purpose at Apartmentalize 2026 in New Orleans, helping Move for Hunger pack snack kits for local kids facing hunger. Move for Hunger is a national nonprofit that fights hunger and food waste by rallying the moving and apartment industries to rescue surplus food and get it to local food banks. Since 2009 the group has delivered more than 82 million pounds of food, enough for over 68 million meals. The parade was a Mardi Gras second line through the conference, followed by a hands-on event where the team packed the snack kits. With 1 in 5 children in America going to bed hungry and nearly 38 percent of food in the country going uneaten, NES was proud to grab the beads and march for a cause that matters.

NES Donates Water Well in Ghana

NES proudly funded the construction of a clean water well in Yabogufong Village, Ghana. This project, made possible through our partnership with the Water Impact Network and Next Meters, now provides reliable access to safe drinking water for hundreds of residents in the region.

Toys for Tots 2024

Toys for Tots

Toys for Tots is a charitable initiative run by the U.S. Marine Corps Reserve that collects and distributes toys to underprivileged children during the holiday season. The Baker Family Foundation donated 60+ bicycles to the local Toys for Tots.

CASA (Community Action Stops Abuse)

CASA provides services for people affected by domestic violence, including emergency shelter, advocacy, and education programs that help survivors find safety and stability. NES proudly supports CASA's work to stop domestic abuse and give survivors the resources they need to rebuild their lives.

St. Pete Opera

NES and the Baker Family Foundation are proud to support the St. Petersburg Opera and its mission to make the arts accessible to the community. St. Petersburg Opera is dedicated to enriching the cultural landscape by offering professional opera performances and educational programs.

John Geigle YMCA

The John Geigle YMCA focuses on youth development, healthy living, and social responsibility. Located in Pinellas County, this YMCA provides programs that promote fitness, education, and community engagement for people of all ages. NES is proud to support the John Geigle YMCA.

Seaside Seabird Sanctuary

Seaside Seabird Sanctuary, located in Indian Shores, Florida, is a dedicated haven for injured and orphaned wild birds. Through rescue, rehabilitation, and public education, the sanctuary ensures these birds have a safe space to heal and thrive. NES is a proud supporter of Seaside Seabird Sanctuary and its mission to continue preserving Florida's native bird population.

DreamRide

Jerry Baker, the President of NES, is a proud supporter of DreamRide and the Special Olympics. DreamRide is an event that supports the HomeTown Foundation. Every year, thousands of supporters head to Farmington, Connecticut to spend a weekend with Special Olympic Athletes enjoying exotic car rides, concerts, sports events, and more.

Toy Makers of East Lake volunteers

Toy Makers of East Lake is an all-volunteer, non-profit organization that produces toys for sick children. Over 400,000 toys have been donated in the local community by 300+ volunteers who donate over 18,000 hours of their time each year. Dozens of local hospitals benefit from these efforts.

Wheels of Success vehicle donation

Wheels of Success

Wheels of Success was founded in 2003 with the mission of providing vehicles for families so they can continue working and providing for their family. Wheels of Success helps with car repairs, vehicle replacement, related licensing services, car payments, down payments and car-care classes in Hillsborough, Pinellas, and Pasco counties.

Canine Care Tampa Bay

NES is proud to support Canine Care Tampa Bay, a non-profit dedicated to the care of family pets. Canine Care Tampa Bay helps pets and people by paying a majority percentage of the cost of a veterinary visit. Their goal is to keep dogs and cats out of shelters and with their families.

Teddy Bears for All Children's Hospital

All Children's Hospital Teddy Bear Giveaway

The NES Team raised over $5,000 to have custom Teddy Bears made for every bed at All Children's Hospital. The NES Team hand stuffed each Teddy Bear and Chick-fil-A donated gift cards for a free kids meal.

Operation Cookies

NES is a proud customer of Operation Cookies, a Veteran owned cookie business in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania. Operation Cookies contributes monthly to various veteran organizations including Folds of Honor, Fisher House, Wounded Warrior Project, and the Gary Sinise Foundation. NES sends Operation Cookies to clients across the country.
